About Wind:

• Wind is a fintech company building a non-custodial payments app that makes sending and spending anywhere in the world, with near-zero transaction costs, accessible to everyone. Think Robinhood meets Transferwise (and a lot more).
• Traditional payment providers have undue control over users’ money. Users can have their accounts frozen, money locked in, and bear hidden fees. Access to these payment providers is limited which makes cross-border payments not only a hassle but also expensive. 
• Wind will do all the things a traditional payments app does (add money, send/receive, cash-out, debit cards) and add crypto native functionalities like staking, yield, dApps. It is a wallet where you can send, store & invest in 4,000+ crypto assets and earn passive income on your balance by staking or suppling assets in DeFi apps.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced product designer to join our team and take ownership of key design initiatives, at a moment of inflection for our business!

What you’ll do:

• Immersed into the consumer & business apps to understand and improve the user experience, from the big picture to the smallest of details
• Contributing to projects of high complexity that involves teams of multiple disciplines
• Working closely with product managers, engineers, developers, product insight experts and business teams to ensure that design is implemented as intended
• Exploring new ideas and making them tangible through prototyping and visualisation
• Working together with other members of the design team to continuously improve and grow the design competence and culture

Who you are:

• Strong experience with working as a product designer in multi functional/ multi-disciplinary product teams
• A strong commitment to objectives on how design can impact growth by using data and user insight to create business impact
• A primary objective to serve our users, by being able to define knowledge needed to understand behaviour and translate those findings into solutions for a product eco-system
• A drive to constantly seek user insights - whether it be via hand-ons research or conducting A/B tests
• Strong ability to communicate the rationale and thought process behind ideas and solutions and collaborate with people from different disciplines with different needs
• Experience working with multiple form factors - web, desktop, mobile apps etc.
• Strong sense for solving problems and generating ideas around sophisticated interactions
• Experience in music production / having a music background is valued, but not essential
• Ability to deliver high quality designs and specifications in a timely manner
• Experience with methods of UX and design related processes
• Proficiency with adequate design tools and software
• BA, MA, BS, MS in Design (Interaction, Graphic, Product etc.), Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience

• Job type: Full Time, 5 Days a Week (Hybrid Opportunity - 3 days WFO, 2 days WFH), 10AM to 6PM (or equivalent hours)
