Job Description
Systems Analyst who will be responsible for support, delivery and troubleshooting of critical business applications. He/she will provide initial assessment on the intake of high-level business requests and help to identify more detailed business use cases and requirements. He/she will help translate the business needs into actionable requirements to support the most viable IT solution possible.
Essential Functions
- Provide technical and functional application assistance. Troubleshoot software fixes and escalate more complex issues to software vendors.
- Respond to issues or incidents and provide day-to-day administration and support for several internal applications related to finance, supply chain and regulatory/quality departments.
- Assist in requirements gathering for Oracle migration project. Provide support and continuous improvements for future Oracle financial system.
- Analyze systems and operations, to understand their strengths and weaknesses, to identify issues and/or opportunities for improvement and propose process, data, or systematic solutions.
- Engage in problem determination, workaround resolution and provide root cause analysis.
- Work with various application owners, business partners, IT teams to identify, document, and prioritize requirements.
- Write detailed process documentation, perform user acceptance test and communicate the process and results.
- Create and maintain compliance SOPs for Regulatory application stack.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree is required with an emphasis on CIS desired.
- 4-8 years in a professional development environment, in an application support role.
- Enterprise applications skills with focus on regulated systems support required including familiarity with Oracle ERP and other financial systems preferred.
- Able to proactively and effectively collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and prioritize deliverables with existing projects and requests.
- Able to function in a fast paced, dynamic, global environment and be capable of balancing multiple priorities most of which are deadline driven.
- Experience creating SOPs for a regulated industry, including knowledge of validation process.
- Experience with change management and release management.
- Experience with capturing metrics for project status reporting.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, sufficient to effectively convey highly complex information and concepts to stakeholders with widely varying technical aptitude.
