Wills & Trusts Wealth Management Group are expanding the range of services we are able to offer our clients with the addition of Wills & Trusts Accounting, our new accountancy practice. Demand for tax accounting services has grown over the years from our IFA business where we look after predominantly family clients and small business owners. As a result we are actively recruiting an ambitious and driven Private Client Accountant to help us service existing clients with their tax needs as well as grow the business further.

Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Completion of regulatory tax submissions accurately and on time
  • Accounts preparation for Ltd companies, sole-traders and partnerships
  • Development of new client accounts in order to meet projected growth plans for W&T Accountancy Practice
  • Collaborating with IFA’s across the group on a number of client accounts
  • Liaising with clients on compliance deadlines
  • Liaising with the HMRC on a diverse range of queries
  • Establishing a team to complete bookkeeping & payroll services where required.
  • Maximising online systems & portals to ensure efficient practice management.
  • On-site client meetings as required

As this is a newly created business within the Wills & Trusts Group we are looking for someone that is driven and not afraid of a challenge. You will require excellent inter-personal skills as relationship management/development is a key part of this role.

Situated in Thame, Oxfordshire you will be part of a lively and dynamic business that looks after its staff. Although joining at the start of the journey for our accountancy practice you will have the support and backing of a much larger team and resources. This would be an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Accountant that is seeking a new challenge where they can truly make an impact.  

Qualifications

Our ideal applicant will be an experienced/senior practice accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. You should be well versed on systems and processes with a strong emphasis of producing quality work. Wills & Trusts Accounting is a brand new business so you will be required to have a well-developed understanding of practice operations and processes in order to establish a solid foundation from which the business can continue to thrive.

You will be a qualified accountant, preferably ACCA/ACA. Although the role initially does not require any people management this may change as the team grows and you have requirement for administrative/operational support.
