WL headquarters are located in St. George, Utah. While most of our team members work remotely from all over the United States, this position is location-specific and on-site.

Job Description

Williamsburg Learning is excited to partner with Leadership Academy of Utah, a state, public charter school, to offer in-person versions of our unique classes for grades 6-10 one day a week in the Logan area. Williamsburg Learning is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Site Coordinator to help run and recruit for the Logan location. The Site Coordinator oversees critical operations, functions, and daily activities of a single on-site ILC managed by Williamsburg Learning. The ideal candidate will have the skills, connections, and confidence needed to recruit students, support mentors and students, manage the facility, and effectively communicate with parents and the local community. This position is part-time. Eight hours on site (exact location is still being determined) each Thursday is required, and the remainder of the estimated 20 hours/week is largely flexible, as explained below.

NOTE: This job position may be combined with the Site Coordinator position for the SLC location (Tuesday) to comprise a full-time position. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can fill two positions.

Reports to: Williamsburg Learning’s ILC Program Director




Community Building & Recruitment

  • Fully participate in any/all relevant WL Professional Development and fully buy in to the WL culture

  • Create electives, events, and opportunities that help students develop socially

  • Work with families in a highly positive manner

  • Work with the WL CMO on student recruitment:

    • Use personal connections to market the ILC program

    • Be a name and face of the local program

    • Contact local home school co-ops and private schools and entice them to work in tandem with the ILC program

    • Hold marketing events in/or near ILC location

    • Participate in the sales funnel by keeping in regular contact with families after they have completed their application and registered for the ILC block

    • Welcome all ILC block registrants and hold info meetings as needed

Oversight and Management of Physical Facility:

  • Coordinate all aspects of running a physical facility, with outside help as needed. Among other responsibilities, these may include:

    • Keys/alarms

    • Custodial needs

    • Parking

    • Heat/AC Issues

  • Coordinate with LAU Executive Director before authorizing expenditures for the building

Mentor Support:

  • Facilitate setting up classrooms (chairs/tables/etc)

  • Purchase and prepare necessary classroom supplies

  • Coordinate with mentors on subs, needed equipment, and problem solving


  • Ensure and communicate a ‘first-class’ customer service experience for parents and students

  • Communicate with the ILC Program Director and LAU Executive Director regularly

  • Communicate with parents on logistics, site questions, policies, etc

Student Health and Safety:

  • Enforce policies regarding health and safety at ILC locations

  • Conduct in-person student discipline when necessary

  • Ensure prompt and effective communication with families and mentors regarding student issues such as illness or disciplinary concerns

Academic Support

  • Provide academic support during study hours and as needed beyond study hours

  • Serve as liaison with WL’s Student Support Specialist for all students participating in the ILC

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • The WL Site Coordinator may be required to act as a ‘substitute mentor’ in the event a mentor is out and no other qualified sub can be found

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to manage physical requirements of managing a building and large numbers of students. This job requires standing, lifting, driving, and other aspects of an active, daily program.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in school, home school, and/or co-op administration

  • A solid understanding and/or willingness to embrace the Williamsburg culture

  • Experience teaching or tutoring in both group and one-on-one settings


Compensation for this position will be based on a per-student model that will be explained in the interview process.

Start Date

Applicants reviewed on an ongoing basis. Position open until filled. Ideal start date would be mid-end of May to begin preparations for school to begin in August.
