Job Description

The Financial Coordinator/Accounting Support Professional will provide comprehensive support for the day-to-day operations of both the Financial Operations and Client Accounting Support teams.   

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the accurate processing of accounts payable invoices, uploading into bill payment software, coding to general ledger accounts, obtaining payment authorizations, matching transaction documentation and scheduling/preparing timely disbursement
  • Assist with monthly expense reporting
  • Assist with client pass-through billing and sales & use tax worksheets, calculations and filing of quarterly returns
  • Reconciliation of credit card transactions
  • Reconciliation of part-time staff hours to payroll system and tracking staff overtime and paid time off
  • Assist the Financial Operations team to ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/year end close, and timely reporting of all monthly financial information
  • Work with team members to upgrade current processes
  • Perform financial analysis and administrative tasks related to WG’s finance and accounting operations department
  • Preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations
  • General Ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Continuously improve and enhance current client/vendor relationships
  • Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online required
  • Bill.com experience strongly desired
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to multitask, problem solve, and balance multiple deadlines, within budgeted timeframes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, problem-solving, and math skills
  • Experience maintaining a high level of confidentiality
