About the Role
Reporting directly to the Regional Product Development APAC Lead, this role is a dynamic and highly collaborative position that blends creative execution, local knowledge with consumer product development across key categories including promotion. You’ll play a key role in shaping consumer product experiences for WildBrain’s iconic IPs—including Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake and third party brands including Peanuts and Supercell by delivering innovative, brand-aligned creative across product development and POSM. This role requires a confident creative who can navigate across diverse brand ecosystems with ease, while maintaining a consistent visual language and high design standards.
Job Description
Creative:
Execute licensed product design across key consumer categories, including experiential activations with focus on brand engagement.
Develop product mock-ups, one sheets, line sheets and pitch decks to support commercial sell-in.
Create retail visualisations and marketing mock-ups to demonstrate brand representation.
Translate global creative direction into commercially viable local executions.
Product Development:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end, approvals process and delivering innovative brand-appropriate products to market.
Ensure all submissions adhere to brand guidelines and required processes.
Liaise with Licensors to obtain clear, solution-oriented feedback.
Track and proactively manage approvals to mitigate delays.
Deliver bi/weekly updates to the local commercial team and Regional PD Lead, including reports noting Licensee developments, status and asset updates.
Onboard and run sessions with new/existing Licensees and vendors, driving brand engagement through best practice sharing.
Project Management:
Partner closely with local commercial teams to support retail and marketing initiatives.
Act as a key point of contact for Licensees and Vendors ensuring proactive communication and timeline management throughout projects.
Proactively manage multiple projects using software such as MyMediaBox and Monday.com
Support cross-category launches requiring coordinated asset usage.
Provide structured updates and reporting on submission status and risk
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of the product development & approval processes, and experience in creatively driving range development.
- Language Skills: Fluent in speaking and writing Korean. Proficiency in English is also required, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- A good understanding of Consumer Product categories, particularly promotions and production limitations.
- Good knowledge of the Korean market, including retailers and Brand Licensing Activations.
- Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages.
- The ability to communicate a clear change in design/direction whilst managing all stakeholders.
- Wider knowledge of the Licensing industry, product/design trends and a natural interest in consumer product.
- A proactive, solution driven mind set to deliver against deadlines.
