Job Description

A Solutions Manager stewards effective communication, solution alignment and project delivery. The purpose of a Solutions Manager in wiGroup is to lead exceptional project delivery services by embracing and living out the values and principles of wiGroup both universally and as they relate to their competency. Their most important role is to understand the client product requirements and manage all stakeholder expectations across the software development lifecycle. They are to foster relationships and knowledge sharing within their pods to ensure a remarkable culture of excellence is visible in their day-to-day activities.


Responsibilities
Strategic Services
Drive innovation and flexibility in project delivery services
Understand the entire client product roadmap and strategy
Client Product Review / Enhancement workshops
Product “solutioning” (what works well, what could be improved, what can be removed, what-if analysis)

Client Services
- Shaping the client solution
- Collecting client info and solution requirements
- Support Account Managers in the sales / pre-project phase
- Ongoing client reporting (project and production environments)

POD Agile Services
- Drive stand-up sessions for effective sprint planning and task management
- Incremental delivery of tangible product look & feel to client stakeholders
- Continues deliver and deployment of client product
- Adapt and implement best approach of Agile, Hybrid or Iterative Waterfall methodologies

Project Management
- Detailed and professional delivery services based on all Project Management industry methodologies
- Driving the definition of project goals and deliverables
- Effective Project Scope, Time and Budget Management
- Manage scope changes and following change control board procedures
- Project Status Communication
- Project, Task and Resource Prioritization
- Risk Mitigation Management
- Problem / Incident support and resolution management
- Manage the Account Executive/ Account Manager engagement and expectations
- Manage the Senior Stakeholder engagement and expectations
- Ongoing client business requirement reviews, alignment and management
- Working closely with SME’s and Divisional Heads to service all client requirements
- Deliver and manage accurate budget reports to finance
- Budget, Schedule and Scope Control
- Manage and track overall project cost activity and overall PNL with Account Manager

System administration JIRA:
- Manage and maintain JIRA backlog / sprint planning
- Ensure POD resources log time

Wrike:
- Manage and maintain detailed project plan & resource scheduling
 

Custom reporting:
- Deliver POD specific project reports to required stakeholders
 

Qualifications

Business Degree qualification
Formal training/ qualification in Project Management
