Job Description

SUMMARY

The Software Development Manager will build and grow the efficiency of the Wi-Tronix software development operation through innovation, enablement and empowerment; inclusive of the people, the methodologies and the customer (internal and external) experience of product development to ensure maximum outcomes.

Talent Development of product development.

·         Evaluate software development team members through performance reviews and 360’s, whereas ratings evaluate performance as it pertains to results, core values and teamwork.

·         Identify, coach, and mentor Software Developers to optimize talent and development efficiencies and operate as a high performance team.

·         Act as a resource to the leadership team; provide expert counsel and direction with regards to removing organizational constraints that impede development.

·         Motivate and inspire talent capacity building and sustainability through fostering a culture of collaboration, effective

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, or related field

·         5+ years of demonstrated engineering leadership

·         3+ years team management Experience with Test Driven Development

·         Proven experience of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) specifically with embedded software/hardware and Web Based Software.

·         Proven management experience with a track record for developing people.

·         Proven experience with agile software development methodology and a passion for tailoring and innovating to fit the business needs.

·         Proven track record in coaching and mentoring Software Developers to optimize talent and development projects.

Qualifications
