Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy and proven Sales Executive with a hunter mentality, a track record of success in Enterprise Sales, a strong understanding of the Life Science vertical and a desire to be in a fast-moving company.  As a Sales Executive for whiz.ai, you will work in tandem with the management and their sales leadership to build and execute go to market strategies and bring in new Enterprise customers.

The Sales Executive must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, exhibit high organizational and emotional intelligence, and demonstrate the agility needed to thrive in a young and nimble company. This role represents an opportunity to join whiz.ai as an individual contributor during an exciting period of growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience selling SAAS to large enterprises, with strong relationships within the Life Science vertical
  • Demonstrate a strong track record for meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Prior experience of working in pharma sales or commercial ops would be a big plus
  • Keen understanding on how to tell a story to effectively close business
  • Strong preparation skills, attention to detail and ability to execute exceptional work
  • Passionate, hunter mentality, tenacious, and ability to “think on your feet"
  • Contacts in Life Science sales, commercial ops, patient services, market access, IT, and analytics teams with a solid reputation among these contacts
  • Ability to learn and demo the product
  • Self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to meticulously manage a pipeline, target new accounts, close business and handles follow-up via the company’s CRM
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Source and close new business to regularly meet and exceed sales goals
  • Consultative sell whiz.ai’s cognitive insights platform to Life Sciences sales, commercial operations, patient services, market access, IT and analytical teams
  • Build an intimate understanding of whiz.ai’s data and platform, and how it meets the needs of their customers, so as to best articulate the value proposition in the market
  • Build client relationships with all levels of decision-makers
  • Prospect within Life Sciences, perform virtual and in-person presentations and software demos, build proposals, and close new deals
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to your prospects and clients
  • Track and manage all sales pipeline, opportunity and account activities in the company’s CRM
  • Work with founder and sales leaders as well as other departments within the company to most effectively understand the product, so as to exceed client expectations
