Job Summary:

We're seeking a Laborer to assist with grounds maintenance and general upkeep at Higginsville Veterans Cemetery. This role involves maintaining the cemetery grounds to ensure a clean, respectful, and well-kept environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including weed trimming and pulling weeds from flower beds.
• Assist with leveling and straightening headstones to maintain a uniform appearance.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and cemetery maintenance guidelines.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and perform manual labor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Commitment to maintaining the cemeterys respectful and dignified appearance.
