Job Description

Position Overview:
As an HR Generalist at Basmala Beads, you will be a key contributor to the development and execution of human resources initiatives that align with our business objectives. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee relations and performance management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top-tier candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing inquiries and resolving HR-related issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Implement and manage performance evaluation processes to drive employee development and growth.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.
  1. HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement continuous improvements.
  1. Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Work closely with external vendors to ensure the effective delivery of benefit programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • English fluency is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
