Wētā Workshop is famous for bringing fantastical worlds to life through hyper-realistic props, costumes, armour, creatures, miniatures, bigatures and a whole lot more.

With some big projects underway, our Manufacturing crew are looking for a Tracking Coordinator to join them through to February 2027.

Job Description

The Tracking Coordinator is responsible for tracking the large volume of pieces arriving into the Workshop from suppliers, vendors, partners etc – ensuring every item is accurately counted, recorded and accounted for. This is essential for helping maintain visibility of incoming work, resolving issues and ensuring everything is ready for shipment.

 

Day to day, this will look like:

  • Receiving, counting and recording incoming pieces from suppliers, vendors and partners.

  • Using tracking schedules and information from Art Direction and Production, maintain accurate tracking records, including quantities, condition and project allocation.

  • Cross-checking deliveries against purchase orders, manifests and project requirements.

  • Assist in identifying and escalating missing, damaged or incorrect items.

  • Monitoring incoming deliveries and providing updates to key stakeholders.

  • Producing summaries and maintaining clear documentation to support project visibility.

 

The team are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in logistics, inventory, warehousing or a coordination role.

  • A love of numbers and a keen eye for detail

  • Great organisational skills and able to work in a place with fast-moving pieces

  • Confident communication skills

  • A good level of physical fitness and a willingness to help move equipment and materials
