Job Description
Our Blackbird Lodge resort is looking for a full-time Front Desk Associate!
Our busy, year-round timeshare resort is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Front Desk Associate. Ideal candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays and be available to handle after-hours emergencies.

Schedule is Thursday through Sunday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM (** Schedule subject to change due to resort needs and coverage)
As the Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for owners and guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our premises. As our Front Desk Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation and contributes to the overall success of our resort.
As a Front Desk Associate, you will:
- Manage the guest registration process including checking in/ out guests, using the computer and issuing keys.
- Answer telephone / courtesy calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Research and provide information on local activities, dining and attractions to owners/guests.
- Provide VI program information and confirm reservations as requested by owners.
- Dispatch guests requests to other departments such as maintenance and housekeeping; follow up to confirm tasks have been completed.
- Maintain service request database
- Maintain operational files and data bases. Requires data input and filing.
- Encourage owners and guests to complete a YOC (your opinion counts) survey.
- Prepare and maintain beverage and food service as directed by management
- Assist housekeeping make beds/ clean rooms or any other housekeeping duties when needed.
- Assist housekeeping with laundry when needed.
- Assist maintenance with work orders when needed.
- Complete minor work orders when maintenance is not onsite.
- Assist in moving furniture / Supplies when needed.
- Assist with side work when bathrooms, common areas, and hallways need to be cleaned.
- Shovel snow from front entrance, side entrance and elevator entrance when needed.
- Apply ice melt to icy areas when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Hotel / Timeshare Experience
- Front Desk Experience
- On call – Afterhours Emergencies
- Driver’s License
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with MS office and general computer operation skills
- Education: Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Detail oriented
- Excellent verbal communication skills in person and via telephone
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement when dealing with owners and staff members
- Basic math, inventory, and cash handling skills
