Job Description
What You'll Do as a Floor Care Technician:
As a Floor Care Technician at Westgate Resorts you Wax on wax off! Grab your gloves and hit the floor – no, not the dance floor! As a Floor Technician with Westgate Resorts, who’s says your job can’t be fun? Staying curious about learning new processes and enjoying keeping the floors safe and clean will be your daily priority. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.
- Clean carpets and floors in guest units and public areas of the resort
- Operate and maintain all floor cleaning equipment
- Strip and wax floors as needed
- Work independently or with a team
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- High school diploma or general education degree GED.
- The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Follow instructions without close supervision.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
