Job Description
As the Resort Experience(Activities) Supervisor, you will lead the coordination and collaboration with a variety of Westgate vendors, ensuring seamless partnerships and smooth operations. Your mission is to help the Resort Experience(Activities) Department consistently deliver outstanding products and memorable experiences for our guests.
- Conceptualize and coordinate activity and special event programs, integrating themed concepts.
- Introduce innovative concepts to enhance a diverse range of activities, particularly in the realm of arts and crafts.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of special events.
- Supervise subordinate team members within the Activities/Kids Club department, including training and development.
- Demonstrate creativity in designing, creating, and maintaining decorations.
- Fulfill supervisory duties in compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws, encompassing tasks such as interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive work environment to boost team morale, motivation, and cohesion.
- Assume departmental leadership in the manager's absence.
- Procure and manage supplies and equipment as required.
- Handle ordering, inventory management, and distribution of logo merchandise and sports equipment.
- Attend manager meetings and contribute to team member orientation.
- Foster collaboration with both recreation and non-recreation personnel.
- Serve as the primary contact for entertainment-related matters for special events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Creative mind and excellent customer service skills.
- 1+ years of Supervisory experience.
- 1+ years experience in creating and participating in recreational and arts & crafts activities.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
