The Senior Financial Analyst - Resort Operations develops, interprets, and summarizes financial data to structure sophisticated reports and analysis that communicates financial results of the organization which includes 26 vacation ownership hotel/resorts, with corresponding food & beverage, retail outlets and management company overhead support. This position will work alongside of business leaders to identify and communicate trends and provide recommendations for improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile and organize large amounts of data: figures, facts, and number crunching from the general ledger, data bases, income statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ability to analyze the data to make and communicate conclusions on the results compared to budget, forecasts, and prior periods in a clear executive format both written and orally.
- Ability to take the conclusions and create trend-based future forecasts from these findings.
- Assist with the production and distribution routine financial reporting for executives, resort operations and accounting team.
- Ability to work, delegate, coordinate and communicate with Property Controllers, Staff Accountants and Resort Operations management.
- Ability to focus, work independently and take initiative to meet strict deadlines without detailed supervision on a regular basis.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Perform a high volume of numerical detail-work with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to seek and implement efficiencies in analysis and workflow.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications
Requirements and Skills
- Must have hospitality and/or resort operations financial experience
- Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications such as SmartView, Oracle Fusion, Tableau.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills with the ability to interpret common financial reports. Along with effectively presenting information and responding to questions from various groups.
- Proven knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, and business environments. Hospitality industry is a plus.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Strong working knowledge of Tableau, VBA and SQL
Education & Certifications
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field equivalent combination of education and experience.
