Job Description
Leading complex, project-driven maintenance and renovation work across resort properties. This advanced role demands deep technical expertise across multiple trades, including high-level drywall, painting, texture finishes, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance.
As Projects III, you will:
- Lead engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes and preventative maintenance as instructed by resort leadership
- Oversee and lead complex projects involving multi-disciplinary trades and tasks applicable to resort experience
- Expert in performing plumbing troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of fixtures and piping
- Expert in troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing electrical components such as circuits and disconnects
- Expert in installing, troubleshooting and repairing household appliances and fixtures
- Expert in HVAC systems with ability to install and perform preventive maintenance & troubleshooting
- Install and repairs interior & exterior walls, coverings and ceilings including framing, painting, and caulking
- Install and replace tile & grout, vinyl and carpet as applicable
- Ability to work with pools, spas, and features including chemical balancing and cleaning duties
- Actively participates in procurement and inventory process to ensure materials and tools are on-site for work
- Ability to effectively operate resort operations devices & software (HotSOS and other applicable)
- Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications
- Perform custodial and maintenance duties, as required by resort leadership
- Ability to safely use hand tools, electrical & battery powered tools required by the job
- Ability to work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts utilizing appropriate PPE
- Must have the ability to follow safety guidelines & practices
- Recognize and identify potential safety or security hazards in the property
- Ability to communicate and interpret guest needs by positively interacting towards resolutions
- Must comply with all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures
- Must represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and professional behavior
- Other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on trade & maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment
- Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to various tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
