Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of restaurant operations, and the ability to drive both customer satisfaction and financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality food standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant revenue, manage costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain logistics to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the resort's management team to align restaurant goals with overall resort objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing reports and taking action to achieve budgeted goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
