Job Description
General Summary Of Duties:
The Casino Host will work to increase gaming revenue by developing new customers and maintaining loyalty of the established customer base, increase visitation to the property and bring new casino business to the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
- Coded to specific mid-range gaming and slot customers
- Book rooms and amenities
- Answer gaming and promotional related questions; implements policies and programs as outlined by DM offers and the Westgate WOW Rewards program
- Must use sound judgment and make good decisions in accordance with established reinvestment guidelines when issuing discretionary comps.
- The casino host must greet guests and participate in all special events and promotions
- Must maintain the ability to build customer relationships will all coded guests and all Westgate customers as needed
- This position will require access to the casino pit area
- Casino hosts must comply with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, policies, and must conduct themselves with the highest levels of integrity
- Meet established quarterly revenue quotas for business and existing data base
- Casino position will work under the direction of the VP of Casino Marketing and above
Qualifications
Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
This position must possess skills as a problem solver in stressful situations as well as being task oriented with multiple responsibilities.
Proactively resolve any guest issue that arises, including the coordination of departmental assistance when necessary, referring to the appropriate supervisor when necessary.
Prioritizes, organizes, and completes multiple activities in a high pressure environment and work a varying schedule to reflect business needs.
Maintain a supportive and productive professional relationship with co-workers, Supervisors and Executives.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of (2) year experience in casino/hotel, customer service, host, or telemarketing experience.
Prior sales or telemarketing experience preferred but not required.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Desirables:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
Able to maintain a valid Driver's License.
