Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Project Coordinator Facilities ensures a variety of comprehensive programs to meet the various facilities needs within the resort. Accountable for preparation, coordination, and implementation of assigned facilities programs to provide a seamless experience for employees and guests.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING)
- Collaborate on programs to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Research, prepare and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including but not limited to permits, inspections, material, FF&E, manpower, timelines, and punch lists.
- Interacts with Development, Contractors, Facilities, & Operational employees.
- Coordinate with in-house and outsourced employees.
- Ability to handle independent work responsibility and judgment.
- Physical ability to access all areas of the property.
- Handles multiple tasks and adjust work shifts as necessary to complete assigned projects.
- Develop an intimate knowledge of projects, systems, and operations.
- Assist with development and reviewing all bids and project requirements.
- Asist with monitoring all project activities.
- Work closely with other departments for service needs and resolution of issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned/required.
- Directly works with the Director of Facilities
- Maintain a clean DMV record.
- Provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report to the department leader and Risk Management every 6 months
- Immediately notify department leadership of any changes to the Nevada Driver’s License status.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Outlook.
- Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management and employees.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
- Ability to manage numerous trades and contractors.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.

- Communicate directly, through written and telephonically with guests and employees and read and write in English.

- Knowledge in blueprints.
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
- Construction experience.

Typical physical / mental demands:
Must be able to grasp, bend, and lift 25 lbs. and sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment including; computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and multi-line telephone. Must have the ability to stand, move, and walk throughout property up to 3 miles, including climbing stairs and sitting at desk workstation for the duration of the shift. This job requires interaction with the public and engagement with an array of personalities. Must be ok with working in a smoking friendly and high spaced environment.
