Job Description
As a part of the Training & Development team, the Instructional Designer develops engaging and effective training materials and courses for our call center team members. This includes e-Learning courses, instructor led training, virtual events, and updating/maintaining resource sites. This individual will need an eye for design, experience in using Articulate 360, understand adult learning principles, and ability to create and edit videos. They will also need to work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to properly analyze training needs, objectives, develop content, and evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs.
- Designing, developing, and managing instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, resource libraries, and assessments
- Analyzing learning needs and objectives
- Structuring content logically and sequentially
- Incorporating diverse instructional strategies and technologies
- Developing written, visual, and multimedia content, including videos, simulations, presentations, and interactive activities
- Ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with learning goals
- Utilizing learning management systems and educational technologies
- Integrating interactive elements like quizzes, discussions, and simulations
- Staying updated on emerging instructional design technologies and trends
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, training teams, and stakeholders
- Communicating effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Providing guidance and support to instructors or facilitators
- Developing assessment strategies to measure learning outcomes
- Analyzing data and feedback for continuous improvement
- Managing multiple projects to ensure timely completion

- Proven experience in instructional design and development, preferably in a corporate training or e-learning environment.
- Experience working collaboratively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and learning technology standards (SCORM, xAPI)
- Portfolio showcasing examples of instructional design projects and e-learning modules is highly desirable.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or other related fields and/or 3+ years of experience in instructional design.
Skills/Knowledge
- Proficiency with instructional design software/tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Premiere Pro, or similar e-learning authoring tools.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Detailed oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined.
