As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Store heavy equipment safely and securely
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment being used
• Keep sediment ponds clean of silt and debris
• Repair any issues that are found with erosion on property
• Clean facilities or work areas
• Direct material handling or moving activities
• Inspect material-moving equipment to detect problems
• Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have a current Driver’s License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to partner with others and interact with guests in a courteous and customer service manner
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and coordinate with other departments to create activities and events on property
• Proven ability to handle challenges effectively in regards to guest concerns to anticipate, prevent, identify and solve problems as necessary
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally items over 100 pounds with assistance
• Must be comfortable with variable and outdoor weather conditions
