Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort boasts more than 3,000 accommodations and offers a great opportunity to meet and share stories with guests who arrive from around the world to enjoy Central Florida’s world-famous theme parks and attractions. Enjoy our world-class resort's surroundings and excitement, such as 14 heated outdoor pools, 14 hot tubs, and the state-of-the-art Shipwreck Island Water Park.

As a Special Project Field Assistant, you will:

• Build forms and pour concrete
• Cut out and patches asphalt
• Remove and/or install paver bricks, barbecue grills, etc.
• Dig trenches
• Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loader, forklift, and related equipment
• Install and repairs fencing and barriers
• Participate in major clean-up projects such as lakefront, storm damage, barn, and property
• Operate chainsaw
• Secure parking bumpers
• Check on all signs
• Any other construction projects not covered by contractors
• Clean up work area and leave it in a neat, safe condition
• Always adhere to all safety requirements and use the proper PPE
• Drive golf carts and company-tagged vehicles as per policy

Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift and/or move up 100lbs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
