Job Description

As an Activities Supervisor, you will be responsible for communicating and working with Westgate vendors such as Resort Recreation and Tourism Management (RR & TM), Excursions, Tennis, etc. In order to facilitate products and services for the Activities department.

As an Activities Supervisor, you will: 

  • Manage team members in the Activities/Kids Club department by coordinating recreational programs on a day-to-day basis for all age groups according to needs and interests of guests/owners, resort requirements, and seasonal opportunities.
  • Assist in set-up and breakdown for special events.
  • Formulate an environment which will increase team members’ morale and motivation.
  • Prepare daily/monthly records and procedures for logo merchandise, marketing materials and other purchases in accordance with Westgate Resorts accounting.
  • Perform weekly inspections of recreational sites.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in activity planning for adults and children.
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
  • Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
  • Follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
