Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This role requires a dependable individual with proficiency in driving, event setup coordination, and production assistance. As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass driving our company van to event locations, loading, organizing, and setting up equipment, and delivering essential support across office tasks. Your contributions will play an instrumental role in guaranteeing the seamless execution of our events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Event Transportation: Safely operate company van to transport event equipment to various locations and ensure timely arrival at event venues. 
  1. Event Setup: Set up event equipment, including tables, chairs, tents, and other event tools. Ensure that all equipment is arranged according to event specifications. 
  1. Assistance Tasks: Provide general assistance for office tasks, including organizing, moving equipment, and maintenance tasks.
  1. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while driving and setting up at events. Use safety equipment as required. 

 

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

 

  • Previous experience in event setup or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with basic event equipment and technical setups is a plus.
  • Transportation/ Driving – must have a valid FL Driver’s License
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to accommodate event schedules.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties related to this position, the team member will regularly visit event sites. The team member must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.

REASONING ABILITIES
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role primarily involves outdoor work, which may be subject to varying weather conditions.  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
