Job Description
The HVAC Refrigeration Technician will work with and train the District Managers, General Managers and Restaurant employees on basic trouble shooting procedures and plan daily maintenance activities, proper preventative cleaning and maintenance tasks for each location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Facility Manager and Market Manager in areas where needed.
- Active participation in relative operation reviews
- Responsible for repairing equipment and building maintenance.
- Prior experience with troubleshooting and repair with electrical, plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration and Mechanical repair
- Prior experience in planning, scheduling and tracking of equipment maintenance.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, repetitively lift heavy objects, work on ladders or roof tops and work in a variety of different climates.
- Willingness to be on call for emergency repairs and work flexible hours including evening and weekend hours when needed-some overnight travel may be required.
- Sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work area.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends when a project dictates a need.
- Must comply with all CFI policies and procedures.
- Must represent CFI in a professional manner through appearance, dress and professional behavior at all times, as dictated in the Team Member’s Handbook.
- Must work diligently to gain knowledge and experience to execute their role to its full potential.
- Other duties as assigned by Corporate Facilities leadership.

Education and/or Experience
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Refrigeration: 2 years (Required)
- HVAC: 2 years (Required)
- Facilities: 1 year (Required)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- EPA, Universal License
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
