Job Description
General Summary Of Duties:
Communicate with internal and external customers to research, analyze, and investigate credit applications. Prepare all documentation necessary for credit authorizer to make credit decision. Scan all credit documents into data storage system. Create and mail out credit statements to guest with outstanding markers. Prepare any markers that need to be deposited. Assist the cage whenever necessary.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
- Assist Guest when applying for Casino Credit
- Process all Credit Applications
- Run all required Credit documents
- Verify Cashier Checks
- Send Out Bank Wire Information
- Contact Various Banks
- Scan and Secure all Credit Documents
- Prepare and Send Out All Guest Statements
- Encode and Prepare all Markers for Deposit
- Work Windows as needed to assist Cage
Qualifications
Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
- Ability to act independently while analyzing data, draw conclusions, generate solutions from written/computer reports.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal/external customers, some of whom will require patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information to resolve customer concerns. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer, and providing positive, proactive solutions.
- Able to answer a multi-line telephone and provide information as needed.
- Ability follow written and/or verbal instructions.
- Mathematical skills necessary to analyze reports.
- Ability to view and interpret information on a computer screen
- Sufficient manual dexterity of hands in order to use computer keyboard, general office equipment, multi-line telephone and calculator.
- Ability to operate multi-line telephone, moderately complex computer, photocopiers, printers and other office equipment to complete daily job functions.
- Ability to sit and work 60 % of a shift.
- Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift and remain calm during emergency situations.
- Ability to climb stairs to access work area.
- Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions, exercise good judgment and adapt to a fluid job position.
- Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of staff.
- Knowledge of:
- Gaming Control Board Regulations,
- PCI Compliance,
- PII Compliance
- Credit Bureau Requirements and laws.
- Ability to deal with problems requiring initiative and good judgment.
- Adheres to internal control procedures.
- Remain calm and alert, especially during heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for other employees. Resolve complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and suggesting the most effective solutions.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly to ascertain credit information document important information.
- Ability to follow English written and/or verbal instructions and to provide clear direction/guidance.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete and generate credit and collections documentation and communicate with management, employees and customers.
- Ability to relate to all levels of management, employees, and customers in verbal or written form.
- Respond to guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction thorough assistance, direction, and information within Casino and Credit guidelines.
- Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with company policy standards.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-organized workspace.
