Job Description

The digital content marketing specialist must be able to write, develop, edit, and publish content and copy for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, and more. We are seeking an individual who possesses world-class writing skills, loves making complex and innovative products easy to understand, and thrives in a fast-paced agile environment. Ideal style should be compelling, and conversion driven.  The individual must have enthusiasm, an outgoing personality, and must be highly organized

Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling content for multiple online channels like blogs, newsletters, etc.
  • Write innovative content copy for weekly social media posts.
  • Support content operations including uploading content, maintaining content management system (WordPress), creating supporting graphics.
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) in writing to maximize the visibility of all the online content pieces
  • Formulating a content strategy, maintaining a content calendar, and adhering to set deadlines
  • Collecting, monitoring, and analyzing social and website metrics to make improvements and adjust the content strategy as necessary
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas for content

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Journalism, Business Marketing or related field
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
  • Have a proven track record of on-time and high-quality project delivery 
  • 3+ years of professional writing experience, especially with digital platforms
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
  • Experience of having operated effectively in high demand, rapidly shifting/fluid environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously

Content Writer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of professional writing experience, especially with digital platforms

  • Portfolio of published work
