Job Description

This job primary purpose is to oversee the operation of the Tour Desk.

Duties

  • Prepare schedule for the Tour Desk team members.
  • Oversee daily check in of sales representatives.
  • Direct check in process of all tours.
  • Supervise all tour data entry information.
  • Coordinate assignment of tours to sales representatives.
  • Supervise preparation and review daily tour desk reports.
  • Order materials and supplies as needed.
  • Assist Tour Desk team members with any questions/concerns.
  • Process performance evaluations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience 
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
