Job Description

The Paid Media Manager role focuses on the buying and campaign management of Digital advertising for Google Adwords, Google Display, Online Video, Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic Advertising and any other paid media channels deemed relevant in collaboration with the Director of Digital Marketing.

This position will oversee campaigns and engaging content for paid media including social media marketing across various platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, SnapChat and other platforms. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use a data-driven approach to develop marketing strategies and marketing plans to support and achieve the business’ objectives. Assist in the development of media strategy and building paid media plans (including audience targeting, segmentation, messaging, budgeting, optimizations, etc.)
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the marketing funnel and develop campaigns that drive consumers to act throughout the lifecycle
  • Set deadlines and level-set expectations on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Work with internal team on creative assets/content to be used in paid social campaigns
  • Develop A/B tests to inform future creative decisions that are optimized to meet KPI’s
  • Assign UTM link tracking to linked content for accurate reporting.
  • Strategize, plan, create, execute, manage, analyze and evaluate a variety of digital advertising campaigns for the HotelsCorp team, always maintaining the efficiencies of the right amount of traffic, leads, bookings and/or phone calls at the right COST.   
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests.
  • Use a data-driven approach to develop marketing strategies and marketing plans to support and achieve the business’ objectives. Assist in the development of media strategy and building paid media plans (including audience targeting,  segmentation, messaging, budgeting, optimizations, etc.)
  • Develop marketing strategies and marketing plans to support and achieve the business’ objectives.
  • Leveraging the company’s real-time data dashboards and reporting tools, you will be tasked with communicating campaign performance and creating a clear road-map for the future.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and options polls.
  • Gather data on consumer targeting, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Prepare reports and present results to clients and management.
  • Actively manage paid marketing campaigns to achieve the business goals including the EFFICIENCY and COST goals and KPIs.
  • Thoroughly understand the business’ strategy, goals, and KPIs
  • Maintain a high level of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in advertising networks (betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display, email, and performance creative) and how channels work together
  • Be able to succeed in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field from a four (4) year college or University.
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media sites and using various social media programs to deliver content and measure results
  • 2-3+ years of experience in paid social media with proven ability to drive revenue working on $1M+ annual budgets
  • Exceptional comprehension of paid social media analytics with the ability to interpret reports and provide recommendations for campaign optimizations
  • Previous experience with platform-specific marketing programs like Facebook Ads Manager, Google G4
  • Understanding of UTM link tracking and Google Analytics
  • Highly organized with an ability to identify and develop efficient operating processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong social media copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience with paid social media for hotels/resorts is a plus
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred
