The general maintenance lead is responsible to Leads the maintenance crew of resort and other buildings. Also, needs to work closely with other departments to ensure proper coordination regarding activities taking place in the resort.

As the General Maintenance Lead, you will: 

• Aids craftsman in scheduling work, ordering materials, and completing assignments by a specific date.
• Manage and maintain ongoing maintenance, work orders, and villa maintenance program
• Research and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies needed by the Engineering Department
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
• Track and coordinates projects within the area
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of work crews
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
• Maintains time and production records
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments

Requirements

• 1+ year of facilities maintenance or handyman experience.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
