Job Description

Westgate Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Manager for our Westgate New York City property, right in the heart of Times Square! You will be responsible for leading and supporting the front desk team, as well as providing a guest-centric approach to all inquiries. We are seeking a determined individual with previous hotel management experience that possesses outstanding leadership capabilities and has a high drive to be successful. Apply now!

As a Front Desk Manager, you will:

  • Perform property inspections to ensure that service levels are of highest standards.
  • Support Front Desk with any guest situations that arise
  • Act as liaison between all departments to ensure proper communication and teamwork is taking place
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of units
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving guest issues
  • Oversee all front office operations. Assures guest satisfaction with room amenities and service. Resolve guest complaint in an efficient manner by performing the following duties
  • Takes care of all emergency situations on property
  • Act as manager on duty for the resort
  • Review nightly audit to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following core values:

Education and/or Experience

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
