Job Description

As the Executive Housekeeper at Westgate Villas Resort, you will play a pivotal role in the overall guest experience. Your responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive management of our Housekeeping Department, which includes overseeing Guest Rooms, Public Areas, and Resort Laundry. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure the resort's pristine condition and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial Goals: Recognize the influence of departmental operations on the property's financial objectives and strive to meet or surpass budgeted targets.
  • Staffing Optimization: Evaluate staffing levels to ensure alignment with guest service requirements, operational demands, and financial targets.
  • Training Excellence: Utilize available on-the-job training resources to effectively train new room attendants and provide ongoing training as needed.
  • Policy Adherence: Guarantee the consistent and equitable enforcement of policies, ensuring that disciplinary procedures and documentation adhere to established protocols.
  • Talent Acquisition: Participate in the recruitment and selection process to bring on board team members possessing the requisite skills.
  • Quality Maintenance: Uphold the highest standards of quality by implementing innovative strategies that result in outstanding cleanliness throughout the entire resort.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that the resort consistently meets its service standards, resulting in exceptional guest satisfaction on a daily basis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, teach, develop, and mentor our talented Housekeeping Team.
  • Profitability Enhancement: Maximize the resort's profitability through the use of financial tools and strategies aimed at improving departmental profitability, controlling expenses, and enhancing productivity.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Excellent guest service skills required
  • Extensive knowledge of cleanliness operations
  • Minimum of tow years of experience in housekeeping management
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be highly proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English. Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills such as data entry, email management, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Prior experience with HotSOS, property management system highly preferred.
