Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

Monitor and control the administration of the sports and race books. 

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

1.        Monitor and control the administration of the sports and race books.

2.        Ensure department has all needed sheets & make sure screens are functional and all events are current.

3.        Work independently, exercise good judgement & pay attention to detail.

Qualifications

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

1.        Ability to operate and monitor computer equipment to open/close betting periods for race/sports events.

2.        Ability to sit at workstation and/or move around SuperBook office area.

3.        Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions and to provide clear direction/guidance.  Ability to relate to all levels of management and employees in verbal/written form.

4.        Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete job assignments and communicate with other employees.

5.        Ability to understand verbal English sufficient to understand verbal job requests from supervisor/guests and in case of emergency situations.

6.        Ability to follow detailed instructions and guidelines, documenting all variations of operating procedures. 

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
