About Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa:

As a member of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort team, you will meet and engage with guests who have arrived to enjoy all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer and help them experience our world-class amenities such as the state-of-the-art Wild Bear Falls water park.

Assist food and beverage outlet manager with the entire operation and financial aspect of the restaurant by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist F&B outlet management team in assuring high guest satisfaction.
• Create a festive atmosphere for guests to enjoy when dining in the restaurant
• Increase sales over prior years and decrease amount of service complaints
• Responsible for team member training programs
• Responsible for scheduling of all service related employees
• Enforces team members, company and department grooming policies
• Participate in company monthly Goals & Measurements Program 

Supervisor Responsibilities
Direct supervises team members in the location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and coaching team members; planning, assigning and directing work; assisting in appraising performance; rewarding team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration 
Food Handlers Certification required within 30 days of Hire, must be maintained on a current/valid status. Must successfully attend Company Mandatory Training programs. Must attend and complete mandatory State required continuing HACCP training.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands  
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and hear. In addition, the employee is occasionally required to taste and smell. The team member frequently is required to climb or balance.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up 10 to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
