Job Description

SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY Shift (8am)

General Summary Of Duties:

Run daily arrival reports and pre block any special request and specific rooms to utilize all rooms to full potential. Pre block and check in any groups that are arriving for check in daily. Complete all back to back, check ins and pre registrations from the night prior. Run reports to check out any rooms that are vacant and communicate discrepancies with Housekeeping. Assist with hotel check in during heavy demand. Answer phones to assist guest’s internal or external questions. Verify any rooms that are set to go and return from out of order/off the market. This is not limited to other duties as assigned.  

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

 

1.         Pre block any special request and or suites

2.        Check in and out all back to back reservations

3.        Work with housekeeping and facilities for all due outs and stay overs

4.        Answer phones at the front desk

5.        Pre assign and check in any group check ins for the day

6.        Assist with hotel check in/out during heavy demand

7.        Manage all off the market and out of order rooms

8.        Over credit report

9.        Room potential report 

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

1.         Computer usage skills required

2.        Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, Outlook, Excel and LMS system knowledge is preferred

3.        Working knowledge of the Las Vegas area is beneficial

4.        Strong interpersonal skills are necessary

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends and holidays

Qualifications

Experience  Requirements

Superior customer service skills required. Experience in a data entry and dealing with the public is required. Prior experience within the Hospitality or related industry preferred.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Desirables:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, Outlook, Excel and LMS system knowledge. A working knowledge of the Las Vegas area would be beneficial.
