Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Understanding of BEO's (Banquet Event Orders)  
  • Make and strike rooms on multiple floors and areas of the property
  • Be an offsite houseman, loading and unloading trucks and setting events outside the property
  • Be a painter, a decorator, and a handyman, arranging props and setups on-site and off
  • Able to carry food trays, memorize menus and proper steps of table service
  • Work with some basic Audio/Visual, and Lighting effects

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience and/or training. Valid driver license is required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and hear. In addition, the employee is occasionally required to taste and smell. The team member frequently is required to climb or balance.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
