Job Description

The Project Coordinator will assist the Executive Director of Development with managing the designated projects and miscellaneous tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Executive Director of Development on monitoring professional consultants and contractors are meeting/exceeding deadlines and providing work product.
  • Assist in the creation and monitoring of project plans/scope, project schedules and budgets, coordinate w/ Internal Team Members to ensure project plan/scope, schedules and budget are in line with overall project.
  • Coordinate Meetings to review projects w/ consultants, internal team members and stakeholders.  Record comments and track revisions/comments/etc.
  • Create and update Development Task schedule.
  • Assists in the creation of Requests for Proposals, coordinate the receipt of proposals and Process CAPEX requests, and monitor for completion.
  • Monitor consultants and contractors to insure timely permit submittals and track review cycles and permit resubmittals.
  • Track and Assist in addressing Requests for Information/Requests for Additional Information from consultants, contractors and permitting agencies.
  • Work with Contractor and Inspectors to monitor/track inspections and Permit Close Out submittals.
  • Research and setup New Vendor Requests to create a database of Professional Service Providers (Surveyors, Engineers, Environmental Consultants, etc.) and Site Contractors.
  • Update Development Budget w/ Costs and Commitments to Date to ensure approved budgets are being met.
  • Research properties and misc. other tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Development.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

College Degree in Business, Construction, Architecture, Engineering or Planning. A minimum of 2 years of Construction and Development experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties related to this position, the team member will regularly visit construction sites. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The majority of the work involved in this position will be conducted from an office, or other field office.
