Job Description

Effectively facilitate, train, mentor, and develop new and existing team members professionally within the Asset Recovery department. Utilize multimedia tools, various learning management systems, and adult learning techniques to ensure that participants understand and retain the information delivered and are effective and efficient at their job responsibilities. Responsible for recruiting and overseeing the daily performance of the Asset recovery team members. Provide floor support to the team members when necessary.

Duties

  • Deliver job-specific, specialization, and refresher training to new and existing team members, live and remote, via diverse channels such as, but not limited to, instructor-led facilitation, multimedia, and various learning management systems.
  • Administer formative and summative assessments to training participants to assess retention and progress during training
  • Share relevant information with management about trainee progress, which will enhance the successful transition of new hires from the training environment to active call floor team member status
  • Ensure that all training facilities stay presentable and fully operational at the end of each training day
  • Ensure all visuals and handouts are used for all classes
  • Ensure Team Members are fully updated on new department policies and sales-related procedures

Self-Development

  • Ensure self-relevancy by way of attending continuing education training, shadowing respective call floors, studying updates, listening to calls, calibrating with management
  • Collaborate with Training Developers on training updates to ensure material accuracy, relevancy, and effectivenessoAttend meetings to partake in the formulation of corrective and preventive training actions based on the feedback provided. Participate in cross-training for a specialized, refresher, and job-specific training courses that include the sales mindset to substitute when needed.
  • Attend ongoing adult learning training techniques workshops and dress rehearsals to increase retention

Mentoring Programs

  • Conduct initial and ongoing training for Peer Mentors participating in the Mentorship Program, assuring team member preparedness to meet the expectations outlined in the program

Ride-Along Programs

  • Conduct field observation reports for below-average team members exhibiting difficulty with meeting department performance and service standards
  • Confer with Training management to create clear performance expectations to bring team members to above-average ranking

Team Member Support

  • Provide Team Member Support for new and existing team members
  • Gather information on topics/areas where the team member is struggling (department rankings, QA scans, listening to calls)
  • Conduct one-on-one training sessions with a team member on the areas they need more support in
  • Send a report on the one-on-one training session to the respective department manager after training was conducted

Audits& Tower Assistance

  • Review accounts to ensure the team members follow Progressions
  • Assure accounts are being worked in manually and promptly.
  • Notify the Supervisor of any performance issues with team
  • Organize Asset Recovery’s recognition functions and activities

Recruiting

  • Interview and select team members for open positions within the Asset Recovery Department.
  • Submit and follow up on all I.T. requests for software/equipment assistance or team member login creation.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous training experience preferred
  • Experience in Asset Recovery
  • Real Estate License

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion. Ability to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
