Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

Supervise operations of casino floor including coordinating and providing guest services with attention to quality of service provided by staff.  Directing requests for extraordinary services, investigating complaints/concerns, analyzing problems and advising proper authorities.  Train and evaluate staff.  Assist with developing new ideas and improve upon existing procedures and services.

 Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions and to provide clear direction/guidance.

  1. Ability to relate to all levels of management, employees and customers in verbal/written form.
  2. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to staff.
  3. Assign and instruct all personnel in details of work.
  4. Observe performance and encourage improvement.

Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards. Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

Qualifications

Typical physical / mental demands

Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 15 lbs. and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including: computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone. Ability to stand, move and work throughout office area and property, including walking up to 2 miles, climbing stairs and sitting at desk workstation for the duration of the shift.

Typical Working Condition:

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public. 

Experience  Requirements

Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions, exercise judgment and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another. Supervise all staff including selection, training, counseling and discipline. Mathematical skills necessary to prepare forecasts, budgets, financial statements and perform calculations. Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system. Listen & respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice, answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information.
