Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

Using various management techniques to handle problems and promote efficiency, oversee all count room activities.  Also participate in using various types of equipment and physical strength to remove all validator cans from slots machine, replenish kiosk cassettes as well each coin bin and bring it to the count room to be weighed/counted and wrapped or packed for accountability purposes. 

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

Respond to guest inquiries.  Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information within Hotel guidelines.
Use extreme physical movement including bending, crouching, stooping, reaching and potentially heavy lifting to remove validator cans from slot machines to be brought to the count room via driving a motorized cart. Validator carts contain slots can will again be manipulated through physical strength into the counting equipment where the validator cans and or kiosk coins/cassettes will be recycled for use on the slot floor. 

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
Ability to act independently.
Ability to lift and carry coins, validator cans and cassettes weighing more or less 50 to 70lbs.
Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and complete buy fills.
Ability to comprehend and understand the English language to follow instructions from supervisor, inquiries/requests from guests and communicate with other employees.
Ability to understand verbal English in case of emergency situations.
Basic mathematical skills necessary to complete buy fills and count and weigh drop.
Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use electric carts, computer keyboard.
Ability to operate electric cart, coin wrapper, push cart, coin counter, scale, and computer to complete daily count.
Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance.

Additional Information

Typical physical / mental demands
Ability to grasp, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move coin on a hand cart weighing a maximum of 60 lbs. on a continuous basis.
Ability to move and work throughout a crowed area on a continuous basis.
Ability to walk/stand and work 95% of shift walking a maximum of 2 miles.
Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergency situations.
Ability to work in unfavorable conditions which can be noisy.
Ability to push/pull hand carts weighing a maximum of 2500 lbs. on an intermittent basis.

Typical Working Condition:
This position requires considerable physical activity (includes lifting coin buckets weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
