As a Deeding Processor, you will:

• Process the proper documentation needed for the releasing of escrow contracts, as well as documents needed for the assignment of mortgages to outside lenders.

• Ensure deadlines are met for deeding batches to be submitted and sent to attorneys.

• Ensure batches are released after attorney’s approval in order to meet deeding/funding deadlines.

• Organizes and finds solutions to title problems and exceptions which require extensive research in order to provide accurate information to off-site offices (ex: Attorneys, Custodian and Lenders).

• Need working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
