  SUMMARY

The web developer will be implementing technologies used in the creation of websites and web applications primarily for use as marketing materials in online and offline web-standards based promotions. The web developer will have an expert command of standard web technologies like HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Be able to execute with accuracy in functionality, the provided web designs
  • Code/ implement websites and web applications from design comps using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript
  • Make suggestions for best practices concerning interaction and API integration
  • Make recommendations for technologies appropriate to solving the problems presented
  • Work to ensure the efficiency of implemented code
  • Maintain and update existing web applications

Ensure that applications written are uniformly and sufficiently documented/ commented for the

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to code web standards compliant web pages using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • Must already be living in the Orlando/Central Florida area as there will be NO relocation compensation. This is an on-location position and telecommuting is not allowed

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Expert experience writing HTML, CSS IS REQUIRED
  • Expert experience writing JavaScript code IS REQUIRED
  • Expert experience writing PHP code is REQUIRED
  • Experience with the WordPress CMS is REQUIRED
  • Google Tag Manager implementation/development experience
  • Google Analytics implementation and development experience
  • Facebook Pixel implementation

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·         Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) from a two-year college or university;

·         BS or MS degree preferred

·         The candidate should have at least 2 years demonstrated experience building complete websites/web pages/web applications with deployment of a JavaScript framework for user interaction. Demonstrated ability to make AJAX calls to web services.

 LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Google Development certifications a plus
