We are actively seeking a skilled Engineering Laundry Technician II to join our new commercial laundry facility. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to work in a cutting-edge commercial laundry environment, supporting and servicing a wide range of commercial and industrial laundry equipment for multiple large properties.

As a Laundry Service Maintenance Tech II, you will:

  • As a Commercial Laundry Equipment Technician, your primary responsibility will be to repair and maintain commercial laundry equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery, including tunnel washers, dryers, ironers, towel folders, conveyors, overhead rail systems, air compressors, pneumatics, steam generators, and small boilers. Additionally, maintain auxiliary equipment such as A/C units and spot coolers that support facility operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of commercial laundry equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with laundry equipment efficiently.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and comprehending technical manuals, basic computer literacy in Microsoft programs and internet usage, accurate completion of documentation, and efficient equipment ordering processes.
  • Maintain chemical systems used in the laundry process.
  • Need to be able to read and comprehend technical manuals.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including ordering parts and maintaining records.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and other departments within the company.
  • Demonstrate dependability, honesty, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Understand the importance of product production to the company's success and work with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

  • Capable of lifting heavy equipment with assistance and comfortable working in confined spaces. Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid conditions near loud, moving machine
  • Must be flexible with your schedule and have open availability
  • Basic computer literacy in Microsoft programs and internet use.
