Job Description

Westgate Reports is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition (TA) Marketing Manager.  Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, this position will create and deliver on recruitment marketing and employment brand strategies and initiatives.  Individual will create engaging content that enables future team members to understand our unique culture and provide an authentic view of the team member employment experience across Westgate through all steps of the recruitment and hiring process. 

TA Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing digital, social, email, event marketing and job advertising strategies to attract top talent.  It is critical for this individual to effectively communicate and partner with key internal stakeholders including Talent Acquisition, Brand, Social & Digital Marketing teams to ensure alignment and connection to the Westgate brand.  Individual will enjoy contributing strategically as well as enjoy day-to-day execution of recruitment marketing plans/tasks.  This is a “roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty and do what it takes to get the job done” type of role.  Teamwork, flexibility, strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage large and small projects with competing priorities is key to being successful.   TA Marketing Manager must enjoy working in a fun, fast paced and supportive leadership environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

TA Social Media Management

  • Manage the day-to-day effectiveness of our career sites to ensure talent attraction content is maintained while leveraging web trends and analytics to drive effective campaign management and candidate experience
  • Oversight and development of all external Talent Acquisition digital properties (company LinkedIn pages, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.)
  • Collaboration and partnership of other social media and digital properties for employment branding
  • Leverages internal partner collaboration, resulting in execution that delivers on project goals
  • Champions employment brand integration through effective communication, excellence in project management and elevation of the importance of employment brand integrity
  • Ensure all recruitment-related digital experiences, including Social, Online and Advertising are cohesive and compelling
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in media and content marketing, the broader online ecosystem, and competitive landscape
  • Manage Facebook and other social media recruitment ads for company job postings.
  • Use approved social media forums to answer follower questions about working for or applying to job postings. Maintain Facebook careers fan page by posting links, videos, pictures of the workplace and other content
  • Ensure use of custom URLs, custom page titles and ensure keyword rich content to increase search engine result ranking and improve visibility of the Westgate employment brand to job seekers are using search engines to find jobs
  • Manage applicant tracking system including implementation of applicable features, content, ensure compliance with the company’s brand guidelines, integration with company career site, mobile, devices, etc.
  • Source and engage with active and passive job prospects through online social networking tools and technology to attract candidates and help proactively fill the company’s talent pipeline, while representing and promoting the Westgate brand
  • Establish employment presence on approved forums, generate engagement, and track and integrate with the company employment presence on applicable sites, promoting new jobs, communicate the positives of working for Westgate, and write content for recruiting blogs on topics such as job search advice, best practices for applying, what it is like to work at Westgate, etc.
  • Meet established performance goals
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Work hours may vary to include weekends and evenings as directed

Digital Marketing Management 

  • Lead strategy and implementation of all Talent Acquisition-related digital marketing including email engagement and social media campaigns
  • Point of contact for all CRM related items for talent acquisition
  • Develop and implement email and text-based Talent lead generation and engagement strategy
  • Work with Division and Department leaders to operationalize brand strategies throughout the organization’s recruitment functions to align with business objectives, marketing strategies, and compliance management issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal business partners and senior management
  • Build and execute paid and organic campaigns that drive candidate pipelines for key talent segments
  • Continuously manage our return on investment on all digital campaigns and resources to drive talent pipelining and community building

Content Creation and Curation Initiatives

  • Leads the development and deployment of employment branding content generation
  • Create an annual plan and content schedule to deploy throughout the recruitment team
  • Produce direct-to-prospective team members’ content, as well as design and develop centralized tools, templates, and content for use by recruitment teams in their engagement with prospective team members
  • Communicate and evangelize editorial vision and capabilities with recruiting community, at all levels
  • Partner with internal brand and marketing partners to develop storytelling strategies, briefs and activation strategies to recruit new talent, cultivate existing talent, differentiate Westgate Resorts as an Employer, amplify reach and engage talent across digital channels
  • Develop content plans across the talent journey and optimize across the ecosystem: assist in content creation, optimization (insight-driven and testing) and distribution
  • Work with team members and agency partners to generate fresh and engaging campaign and experience ideas to deliver on business recruitment goals, build talent pipeline and brand affinity

Measurement and ROI

  • Oversee a robust measurement program and drive optimization of advertising campaigns, media choices, and digital properties 

Additional Responsibilities including

  • Create an employment branding training process for recruitment team
  • Network with subject matter experts and thought leaders in employment brand space
  • Develop SOP’s for employment brand within talent acquisition team
  • Develop and maintain scorecard processes and reports throughout the year
  • Report insights about trends that impact brand-positioning performance: industry, market, competitor, and customer.
  • Develop a team of employment brand champions/ambassadors throughout the TA organization

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience supporting a Talent Acquisition function
  • 6+ years of marketing, advertising or branding experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple markets, with internal and external partners including creative agencies and media partners
  • Demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
  • Prior experience within travel & hospitality a plus
  • Staffing, recruiting, employer brand, and/or recruitment advertising experience a plus
  • Experience with performance measurement analytics and tools, budget management and implementing cost controls
  • Deep knowledge and proven experience with recruitment focused content and campaigns on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, video platforms, and discussion forums
  • Understanding of related creative tracks: user experience, copywriting and content strategy
  • Experience managing digital communications and social media and other forms of advertising

Education & Certifications

  • BA in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred. Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred. 

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Sprinkler and various social media platforms preferred such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

Travel Requirements

  • Limited travel required. Approximately 15% of time
