The Westgate Resorts Specialty Marketing Department is looking to hire a full-time Web Developer to create extraordinary, high-quality digital creative elements across multiple marketing channels, while keeping up with current design trends. This person should be detail oriented, creative, must be a team player and should be able to multitask and work under pressure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and produce engaging designs in support of business objectives that includes, but is not limited to landing pages, emails, digital banners, infographics, logos, websites and other marketing collateral.
• Create, update and maintain web content in content management systems
• Leverage existing templates for emails/landing pages and create new templates, as needed, to produce creative for on-going and ad hoc campaigns
• Work independently and part of a team
• Is self-motivated and able to take projects from start to finish with little oversight and deliver in a timely manner
• Effectively understands web, mobile and email design standards and best practices
• Set attainable timelines, communicate effectively and deliver projects on time
• Other duties assigned

Experience:

• Specialization in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React, AngularJS)
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors
• Develop and implement modular, consistently-styled responsive web applications
• Design and optimize for mobile user experience with a focus on improving / increasing sales-related conversion actions
• Experience working with git source control
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, with some Illustrator and InDesign)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in web design
• Local candidates only as No Relocation compensation will be offered
• This is an on-location position (no telecommuting)

Education & Certifications:

• BA/BS preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

• Digital Portfolio that demonstrates the candidate’s design abilities is required
• Knowledge of UI UX principals and user flow
• Understanding of typography and design hierarchy
• Design/advertising agency experience is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with a CMS (content management system)
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail
• Adept at multi-tasking
