As a Carpenter, you will:

• Perform various carpentry tasks including repairing, installing, and maintaining structures, furniture, and fixtures throughout the resort.
• Construct and assemble items such as cabinets, shelves, and doors according to specifications.
• Inspect and identify areas requiring maintenance or repair, and take appropriate action to address issues promptly.
• Work closely with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation and safety compliance.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans for carpentry-related assets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
