Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

This position requires individual to be able to work the specific positions of:  front window, fill bank, marker bank, Dispatch Cage on a rotational basis.  To insure that transaction are done correctly and to safeguard the Westgate assets.  To provide friendly and accurate service.  To be able to operate all equipment in order to obtain information needed to provide management and customers with accurate information.

 
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

1.        Respond to guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information.

2.        To provide and obtain accurate information by following Westgate procedures and guidelines in order to service all/any parties concerned in a courteous and professional manner.  Failure to do so may result in negative feeling towards the hotel.

3.        Assist cashiers and other departments in completing transactions correctly.

4.        Adjust to new situations and personnel and implements policies by instructing the correct manner in which to conduct transactions.  Schedule discipline, counsel and document when applicable.

5.        To verify and accurately complete transactions, making sure checks are completed correctly and that the right amount of markers, chips and cash is given or received.

3.        To provide and obtain accurate information, using a variety of sources in order to service our customers and other departments in a courteous and professional manner.

4.        Communicate with customers to determine the nature of transaction in order to accomplish satisfaction to all parties concerned. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete job requirements and communicate with other employees.

5.        Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions and to provide clear direction/guidance.  Ability to relate to all levels of management, employees and guests in verbal/written form.

6.        Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions, exercise judgment and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another.

7.        Respond to guest inquiries.  Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information within hotel guidelines.

8.        Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergency situations.

9.        Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

10.     Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move racks of chips weighing a maximum of 40 lbs. on a continuous schedule.

11.     Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.

12.     Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.


Typical physical / mental demands

Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move racks of chips weighing a maximum of 40 lbs. on an intermittent.
Ability to walk and work 90% of time, maximum of 3 miles per shift.

Typical Working Condition:

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.

 
Experience Requirements

At least one year of casino and cash handling experience

Education Requirements


High school diploma or GED Equivalent
