Job Description

The Warehouse Driver position safely and securely moves goods to and from the warehouse, the resorts, corporate offices, vendors and other locations in a timely and efficient manner. Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. The position requires basic mathematic abilities, physical capabilities and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including trucks, vans, pick-up trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers and or reach trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Load vehicle accurately and safely. Secure load for timely and efficient delivery of goods including inventory products to and from the warehouse while obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Unload/load vehicle as needed at delivery destinations.
  • Responsible for obtaining customer signature upon delivery either on a scanning device or hard copy and ensures that all delivery documents are returned to the warehouse.
  • Accurately counts, inspects for damage and or defects and documents all goods loaded into vehicle.
  • Reports any discrepancies with orders or deliveries.
  • Conducts daily external and internal inspection of assigned vehicle, documents and reports all problems to warehouse management.
  • Maintains appropriate licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record.
  • Always conduct self in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Assists in the accurate counting of physical inventory and stored goods.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
  • Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.
  • Assists in the unloading of containers, unloading/loading of trailers and trucks as needed.
  • Follows all equipment operation safety rules and in compliance with company, federal, state and local rules.
  • Wears the proper safety equipment and follows all warehouse policies and procedures in regard to personal protection guidelines.
  • Works and communicates with co-workers, internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner. Committed to quality service.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a warehouse role.
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Must have problem-solving skills.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work with others in a high-pace setting.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively to inside/outside customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Reasoning Abilities

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 

Other Skills & Abilities

Must have knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Certified Fork lift Driver (must obtain within 60 days of hire)
