As an Electrician, you will: 

  • Operate software (HotSOS) and communicate professionally in emails and verbal communications 
  • Read & interpret blueprints, technical data a, and O&M manuals 
  • Perform custodial and maintenance duties, as required by resort leadership 
  • Reset or troubleshoot breakers, ballasts, switches, GFGFCI’s, receptacles, and other electrical fixtures 
  • Work with high & low voltage systems 
  • Be experienced in the installation of EMT electrical conduit, MC cable and other wiring materials along with their respective fittings, supports and wiring as necessary to meet code standards 
  • Use hand tools, electrical and battery-powered tools and other tools required  
  • Work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts, dust masks and in confined/tight spaces 
  •  Follow safety guidelines/practices and recognize and identify potential hazards in the property 
  • Represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress and professional behavior at all times, as dictated in the Team Member’s Handbook

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts

  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
